Here you can find many of the questions that people have asked about the road repaving project for the Stillmeadow Subdivision. This page will be updated regularly, so please check back. If you have a question you don't see answered on this page, please feel free to contact the Stillmeadow HOA Board.
Olivia Olsztyn-Budry, P.E., Director – Engineering & Environmental Services Department, presented the following presentation at the 2018 Stillmeadow HOA regarding the road repaving process. She has shared this presentation with us for the benefit of those who were not able to attend the meeting. If you have any questions for Ms. Olsztyn-Budry, she can be reached at the Bloomfield Township offices at 248-594-2807.
We have received notice from the Township that there will be a Snow Emergency tomorrow due to the expected storm. This means there will be no parking allowed on any streets. For more information, see the Township Facebook Page or the Bloomfield Township website. The Facebook page updates much faster than the website though, so check that first.

Water main break affects service in Township
About 75 percent of the Township is without water or has low water pressure due to a water main break and unspecified electrical problems. Repairs are underway, but no time has been set yet for a full return to service. In the meantime, it is recommended to boil water.
Further details will follow.
A message is also being carried on Bloomfield Community TV and through NextDoor.
Thanks to everyone that participated in the road survey. We had a great response. There is sufficient support to go forward with obtaining signatures on an official Expression of Interest Form so that we can obtain a detailed engineering estimate from the Township.
Here are the overall survey results.
63 unique homeowners responded to the survey for an 81% response rate.
Of the 63 homes that responded,
Thank you to Bruce Henderson, who worked with Bloomfield Township and the Road Commission for 2 years to get the light at Lahser and Long Lake fixed. The sensor in the left turn lane for westbound Long Lake was broken. This caused a delay in the green light for those traveling eastbound on Long Lake, even if there was no one in the left turn lane. The sensor has now been replaced, which should ease traffic heading eastbound on Long Lake. The light will now go immediately for eastbound if there is no one turning left.
Stillmeadow Homeowners Association Annual Meeting will be held
on Sunday, January 29th, 2017
from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
in the Bloomfield Township Large Conference Hall
(4200 Telegraph Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302)
All residents are invited to attend.
Please be aware of the following as a courtesy to your neighbors and for the safety of everyone in the subdivision:
- No street parking so plows can be effective when the Township declares a snow emergency.
- Please do not blow snow directly into the street when clearing your driveway - please direct off to the side so that it does not pose a hazard.
- Plowing companies should not plow snow across a roadway into a neighbors yard.
- Please drive slowly through the subdivision on snowy days - we have many small children living in the subdivision now.
